not much of an update...
i have been so sick this week (i think i have the flu). although i have accomplished a great deal over the last few hours because i am high on DAYQUIL.
i got some awesome exciting news on friday.... I made the Dean's Honor Roll last semester for having a high GPA. Now i just have to try and keep my grades up...
anyway... i'm going to sleep before the drugs wear off ... :(
oh ya and here is a pic from our recent ice storm in London:
so, i FINALLY have the pictures from the Christmas pub/ karaoke. I know its taken a long time. Its really just because of the huge volume of pictures on my hard drive (600+). I take too many photos. Its becoming a serious problem lol.

We finally have snow in London! I really must get some gloves before i take anymore outdoor/ nighttime shots. Sooo cold...
I looked outside earlier and there was a flock of birds, circling and circling. They would go one way and disappear, and then suddenly they'd zoom right past my window. I took a bunch of pictures. They came out kinda grainy because I didn't really bother to set the camera properly, but I like the effect in this one:
They weren't really dark colored birds.... I think they were seagulls, but they came out black because of the sky behind them.
Just some random photos from today, outside in our residence courtyard. It was sooo cold in London today. I wanted to take more pictures but my hands were freezing. One nice thing about it being so cold though was that the courtyard was empty. I like the kind of deserted look of these pics.

I was so shocked to log into livejournal today and read about Tom's accident. I really hope his foot heals well. Chris, I'm sure you'll keep us updated if you hear anything. Poor Tom :(
So I'm home for the weekend to pick up my FINALLY fixed camera, and my new cell phone to replace the dead one. It's nice to be home. I like Res, but it gets boring on the weekends. My roommates usually leave. not that i'd want to hang with them all weekend anyway :(
Tonight I went to Demetre's with my brother and Beckett. We had ice cream. It was really good. We also went and saw the "Borat" movie. It was funny, but so offensive. I'm really surprised it was rated 14A. Movie ratings really seem to have changed. I mean, they showed someones BALLS. Didn't that require an "R" rating not too long ago?!
So here is my camera's "self portrait." I spent all day taking pictures of everything. Tomorrow when i get back to Res i'm gonna take some pics so i can finally show everyone where i'm living. i do have one picture of me and my roommates:
This was at our school pub in october. We had sex toy bingo (you can win all sorts of things... porn dvds, anal beads...etc...) I'm in the back of the pic, behind Nicoles big head. The guy at the table is Elijah. He lives down the hall from us. The girl hugging him is Emily. The other girl in front is Ally. They're good roommates, we just don't have a lot in common.

Cause for celebration: My roommate Ally is in the kitchen WASHING HER DISHES! For the first time since she moved in! Its a miracle! (or maybe she just ran out of plates?!)
80 days.... its been 80 days since i took my camera to be repaired. and finally, finally...
IT'S FIXED!!!
Best buy said they wouldn't cover the cost, because I had dropped it. I was gonna have to pay $180 to fix it, so Larry called them and said to send it back because it would be cheaper to buy a used one. So he started bidding on ebay and the prices were topping $250 US. Blarg. So anyway, Best buy phoned for him to pick up the (unfixed) camera. When he went to get it, they HAD fixed it, even after he told them not to. But they decided the entended warranty would cover it! which is awesome.
So i'm going to Mississauga this weekend to pick it up. My parents were going to bring it to me next weekend when they come visit, but i just can't wait that long. Do you know how hard it is to not take pictures (other than polaroids) for 80 days!?
So I'll be able to post some pics of fanshawe and res soon... and my roommates. lol. theyre gonna hate me. they have yet to experience my manic photography obsession. mwahahaha!
I got my hair done today. cut and slightly layered. i like it, and its good to have it different since i have been styling it the same way since i was like 6 years old. its still really long though, which i'm glad about. i really wanted to keep the length. anyway, not much else new. happy thanksgiving everyone.
